Ritesh Agarwal has had an interesting childhood. He was never fond of studies so he dropped formal education out of his plans. The idea of Oravel Staysstruck him when he was 18. The basic idea was a budget hotel chain that provides B&B. Realizing that no other service offered a room for a budget traveller, Ritesh took the idea from Oravel stays to OYO rooms and voila! Agarwal started OYO with 11 only rooms in a Gurgaon hotel. This is one of the best successful entrepreneurs stories in India. Today, OYO has 65000 rooms in about 5500 properties across 170 cities in India.
Ritesh started his entrepreneurial journey when he was 17 years old. He dropped out of college and launched his first start‐up Oravel Stays Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2012. Oravel was designed as a platform to enable listing and booking of budget accommodation. Being an avid traveler, he soon realized that the budget hospitality sector lacked predictability. Therefore, he pivoted Oravel to OYO Rooms in 2013 with the key proposition of offering affordable and standardized accommodation.

When Farrhad was 13, he borrowed about Rs. 1,200 from his father to build an online community. At the age of 16, he borrowed 500rs to buy an online domain. By 17, this young man was interviewed on CNN. Now at the age of 24, FarrhadAcidwalla is among the top successful entrepreneurs of India! Selling his initial business idea to a fan for about Rs. 25,000, he used the money to start a Web Developing Media Firm called Rockstah Media. The company is now about a year old and already recognized by many across the nation. This is one of the best successful entrepreneurs stories in India.
Since, Farrhad has launched Rockstah Media, a cutting-edge company devoted to web development, marketing, advertisement, and branding. It is just over a year old but it has clients and a full fledged team of developers, designers and market strategists spread across the globe. As the CEO and founder, Farrhad is responsible for taking care of the clients and guiding the creative team to success. At 16, Farrhad is planning to continue running Rockstah Media, while studying finance at India’s prestigious H.R. College of Commerce & Economics. In his free time, Farrhad enjoys hanging out with friends, playing Playstation, reading, watching movies, and playing the guitar.
Farrhad Acidwalla has earned a spot in several listicles of famous publication. He is also a TEDx speaker and has been the youngest guest lecturer in IIT Kharagpur’s Annual Entrepreneurship Summit.
15-year-old Indian tech prodigy, who started using computers at age six, launched his first website at age nine, and has been working with Google’s AI and Cloud Platform for a couple of years now. Advait Thakur is an Indian computer programmer and Teenage Internet entrepreneur. He is the founder of Apex Infosys India , and is currently its chief executive officer. He is Google, Bing and Hubspot Certified Professional. Ranked 4th in Wikia’s Young Entrepreneurs Under 20 list of 2017, Advait is in a different league from the average pre-teen. In 2015, at age twelve, he founded a tech company ‘Apex Infosys India’ which is now an Accredited Domain Name Registrar and an organisation that provides Digital Solutions. Apex Infosys India is also involved primarily in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & IOT Sector.
In 2017, at age fourteen, he built “Technology Quiz,” an app to help kids learn about Science & Technology which Actions On Google accepted after rejecting it five times. An incredible achievement for a child who loves to code but is largely self-taught. A programmer since he was eleven, Advait is one of the youngest entrepreneurs and web developers in the world.
During Advait’s high school years, he worked for the NGOs name Satish Haware Divyang Centre & Beautiful Tommorow Foundation and helped them in getting more audience through online platform by providing them digital marketing services for Free, for which he was was felicitated by Hon. Rajkumar Badole(Cabinet Minister, Social Justice). He also developed an app called “Autism Awareness” for Google Assistant which helps people to learn about autism and related disorders and their symptoms, etc. He is currently working on a product based on IOT to offer solutions to some of India’s most challenging problems.
King Sidharth, is regarded as an enthusiastic young entrepreneur in India. He is popular for his designs, philosophy and is a regular speaker across various college events. Entrepreneurs somewhat find it hard to fit in a monotonous world, not willing to walk on the norms set by the society. Life of King Sidharth reflects such principles, a drop-out by choice but never did he stop his learning curve. While studying in school, as a 11-year-old-kid, King Sidharth was creative and overall confident about his interests. He started organizing events in his locality, they also made tickets for the attendees.
Later in the 10th standard he started an online magazine called Friendz, an attempt to cater all like-minded people in at one place. It was then that he developed deep interest in film making and started shooting short videos amongst his friends group. By the 11th grade, he had gained significant knowledge in designing and creating websites. He also started working on many freelancing projects and in the process hired few people. It was during these years that he had the idea of dropping off a year before joining the college. He did face many advises on his wise decision.
King Sidhath was then listed among World’s 25 Young Entrepreneurs in the year 2010 and was also featured in the book.
